• Vittoria on the Walk - classic Italian, an Edinburgh institution

• Taste of Italy - a sister to Vittoria's, great value take away or sit in

• Twelve Triangles Bakery  - superb takeway breads and pastries

• Homeforce - a one stop shop for reliable Edinburgh tradespeople (handyman, electrician, plumber, decorator, joiner etc etc).  I've found them to be punctual, polite, reliable, and reasonable whenever I've had cause to use them.
